Tips on How to Spot Animals in the Wild
By admin On October 12th, 2011When outside looking for animals it is best to have in mind what types of animals there are, in the area you are looking.
When looking for animals in the wild parts of Alaska, it is best to be very quite while walking in the woods. Animals can see, hear and smell things way better than we humans can. When looking for animals, start by looking for Brown Bears, they are spot while looking up on hillside areas, on hiking trails or sometimes in towns. They very large and should not be bothered.
If you were looking for the Moose, in the wild, you would look by the water or on a wild life refuge and sometimes they are found around towns or walking across the road.
If I were looking for Dall Sheep I would start by looking in an opened field or the edge of a wooded area. When looking for any wild animal try to look for a shape on the animal rather than the whole animal. Like when looking for Dall Sheep, look for their bodies climbing up a rocky cliff. If you look for the animals ears or legs, they are moving most of the time.
