Are you looking to set up a camping trip with the family before the weather gets to chilly? If so, it’s not something you can just set up by yourself, but instead something that needs to be planned as a family.

In order to plan a successful camping trip with your family, consider these tips.

Plan a date: Get everyone together and pull out a calendar. Let everyone choose a date that would work best for everyone and then go from there.

Choose the location: In order for everyone to have fun, you want to make sure everyone agrees on the location of the camping trip.

Decide on transportation: Figure out how everyone is going to get there. Will you consider getting a RV or you do want everyone to drive separately?

Agree on supplies: In order for you to enjoy your trip, you must have all the supplies. Figure out who’s going to bring the food, the tents, entertainment, as well as supplies such as grills, matches and everything else needed for a camping trip.

Planning a camping trip doesn’t have to be hard. If you consider these tips above, it will be planned and ready before you know it.

When outside looking for animals it is best to have in mind what types of animals there are, in the area you are looking.
When looking for animals in the wild parts of Alaska, it is best to be very quite while walking in the woods. Animals can see, hear and smell things way better than we humans can. When looking for animals, start by looking for Brown Bears, they are spot while looking up on hillside areas, on hiking trails or sometimes in towns. They very large and should not be bothered.
If you were looking for the Moose, in the wild, you would look by the water or on a wild life refuge and sometimes they are found around towns or walking across the road.
If I were looking for Dall Sheep I would start by looking in an opened field or the edge of a wooded area. When looking for any wild animal try to look for a shape on the animal rather than the whole animal. Like when looking for Dall Sheep, look for their bodies climbing up a rocky cliff. If you look for the animals ears or legs, they are moving most of the time.

Alaska is the biggest state in the union. It has many historical sites to delight visitors. The Eagle Historic District located in Eagle, Alaska boasts over 100 buildings from the Gold Rush years on the Yukon River. Fort Egbert was built here in 1889 to serve in a governmental role for the area. The federal courthouse also still stands today. The courthouse was funded by fines imposed on the rowdy gold rushers. Roald Amundsen arrived here in 1905 and announced his successful trip through the Northwest Passage. Castle Hill or the American Flag Raising Site is located it Sitka, Alaska and in 1867 the Russian Flag was lowered for the last time, and the American Flag was raised, marking the transfer of Alaska into American hands. In 1959 when Alaska was admitted to the union as the 49th state, it was the site of the first official raising of the 49 star U.S. flag. Brooks River Archeological District is located in Bristol Bay. In the Katmai National Park and Reserve, 20 separate sites date from 2500 BC to recent history. These sites include a large number of Arctic tools and artifacts. A wonderful historic site for those who enjoy ancient history.
